AWE “Women to Follow” features Dr. Perdew

RALEIGH, NC – April 28, 2021 – AWE, a foundation based on a perceived need for supporting entrepreneurial women in business in the NC State community and beyond started in 2015 by Dr. Rosanna Garcia through a grant from NC State Extension, Engagement, and Economic Development seed funding program. AWE is a safe place to network, ask questions, share experiences and provide encouragement for community businesses and most especially women entrepreneurs.

Our very own Dr. Irina Perdew, CEO and Co-Founder of Vetletics Inc., had the privilege to be chosen as one of AWE’s “Women to Follow.”  In the article, Dr. Perdew talks about how she was able to manage her life as an entrepreneur while pursuing a career in veterinary medicine and raising two lovely daughters at home.  The author compliments Dr. Perdew, “With her enthusiasm and work ethic, Irina Perdew shows us that entrepreneurship as a mom and student is a balancing act, but it can be done with the right tools and the right attitude.”
