Human Studies

During her work with Team USA, Dr. Perdew (CEO) was given the opportunity to personally treat NBA players John Wall and Mike Conley with the BallancerPro, one of Mego Afek’s (our strategic partner) compression therapy systems. She learned how much physical pain athletes experience on a daily basis and how proper recovery helps alleviate that pain.

The pain is caused by metabolic waste products being left behind after muscles are stressed in workouts or performances. The following documents cover muscles recovering from fatigue, exercise performance, and compressive therapy used on athletes with wheelchairs.
