Introducing EQ Press:

A Dynamic compression device designed to improve your horses’ health and performance.

EQ Press’ can actively push lymph fluid up and out of your horse’s legs which helps remove waste products and metabolites, reduce inflammation, enhance the immune response, and promote overall health. Unlike other products covering only lower parts of the leg, the patented EQ Press fits the contours of your horse’s front and back legs all the way up to the elbows and stifles.

FAQ

Why is the EQ Press important

Equine athletes are pushed to their limits during training. When muscles are stressed in workouts or performances, metabolic wastes are produced such as lactic acid which in turn is poison to muscles and causes swelling, pain, and reduced performance.
On its own, it takes the body days to flush the toxins out, which is where compression therapy plays a key role. Dynamic compression therapy effectively removes metabolic waste faster and better than any traditional mode of recovery or rest alone.

A 1-2 hours/day session in an equivalent human dynamic compression therapy device made by our manufacturer, is being compared to 12-48 hours of the body’s own recovery.

Does the EQ Press provide cold or heat?
The EQ Press inflates with air without any temperature modification. The focus is on compression, which allows toxins and metabolic wastes to be flushed out of the body faster and more efficiently; thus enhancing athletic recovery and improving overall health.
Super simple concept with great results that leaves your horse feeling fantastic!
How does it work?

The EQ Press applies dynamic, circumferential pressure originating from air chambers. The chambers inflate from bottom up in a sequential manner, and extend from the hoof along the entire height of the limb increasing venous return and accelerating the body’s natural recovery process. This allows toxins and metabolic wastes to be flushed out of the body faster and more efficiently; thus enhancing athletic recovery and improving overall health!

Why does it work?

Almost everything in our bodies is controlled by pressures. The vessels do not care if the pressure is applied by external forces.

By squeezing the limb in a precisely controlled manner, we change the pressures within that area which allows for lymph vessels to take up all that fluid and waste products left behind.

Patented technology of the EQ Press then creates a pressure gradient with the chamber by the hoof having higher pressure then the chamber above and so on.

This allows for the fluid to move up against gravity. It also eliminates the possibility of any backflow because everything always flows from high pressure to low.

Are there studies?

The EQ Press is currently being tested for the treatment of lymphangitis and generalized limb edema, as well as to enhance pre-workout warmup and post-workout recovery with great preliminary results.

With over 4 decades of proven human clinical studies, dynamic compression technology has been used by top tier surgeons, clinics, high-end medical spas to help their clients improve their lymphatic system, as well as national sports teams in Europe and USA to enhance athletic recovery.
