Irina Perdew

Dr. Irina Perdew has recently graduated from the NC State University veterinary medicine program. Dr. Perdew is the visionary behind Vetletics who is now representing the company as the President and CEO. She was struck with the idea of a compression device for horses in her first year of veterinary school after working with NBA players and a human pneumatic compression device for purposes of recovery. Dr. Perdew was shocked to learn that nothing like this existed for horses and was determined to change that. Her vision is now a reality for Vetletics’ flagship device. 

Dr. Perdew’s past entrepreneurial experience from co-owning a specialty store and managing a department between multiple stores merged with her veterinary education to drive her to become the co-founder and CEO of Vetletics. Dr. Perdew was chosen to participate in the at NC State University Andrews Launch Accelerator Program with Vetletics due to the passion and skill she demonstrated. She also was also chosen as the College of Veterinary Medicine representative for the Advancement of Women Entrepreneurs at NC State University.  Dr. Perdew is proficient in five languages and continues to pursue innovation and improvement with integrity, determination, and passion. In addition to her clinician scientist and entrepreneurship work, Dr. Perdew works hard to raise her two beautiful girls, Anastasia and Eva.
